Jaguar Land Rover Stockport

We are appointed by the Sytner Group to design the mechanical and electrical services for Jaguar Land Rover  Stockport.  Energy consumption was a key factor of the design and the client wanted to achieve a BREEAM Very Good rating.  Hand in hand with this exercise was a review of the sustainable and renewable options that are appropriate to the showroom in this specific location and a review of options considered beneficial based on Sytner Group experience.

The Courtyard Shopping Centre Warrington

We have undertaken mechanical and electrical inspections within the Shopping Centre for PPM purposes on behalf of our clients Bond Bay Limited.  The property is a mixed use scheme of eight retail units and one restaurant on the ground floor, three floors of office accommodation across the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors.

No.1 King Street, Manchester

We are delighted to have been appointed to undertake the M & E design of the refurbishment of the 4th and 5th floors of this Grade II listed building in the heart of Manchester city centre.

2 The Square, Holmes Chapel

Charles Andrews were appointed by GJH Properties to undertake a performance specification on this 1850s two-storey property situated on a busy main street in Holmes Chapel.  The property was completely remodelled and re-furbished.

New Audi Dealership Appointments

Charles Andrews has been appointed by Sytner Group to provide mechanical and electrical consultancy services for the refurbishment of three Audi Dealerships located in West London, Huddersfield and Derby.

Venus House, Salford Quays

Venus House is an 8 storey building of approximately 90,500 sq. ft. In readiness for its proposed refurbishment, CAL were instructed to proceed with an inspection of the Venus House site and make a visual inspection of the mechanical and electrical services, and to report our findings as to their general arrangement, design, quality and state of repair. CAL were subsequently instructed to prepare Employers Requirements for all M & E services by Deloitte Real Estate on behalf of the occupying client.

High Peak Borough Council

Charles Andrews is pleased to announce its first project with High Peak Borough Council following appointment to the Fusion 21 Consultancy Framework for Building Engineering Services.  We are assisting  High Peak Borough Council by carrying out a series of surveys in connection with their building stock of Sheltered Blocks and Communal Areas of Flat Blocks.

Another Framework Appointment for Charles Andrews

Charles Andrews Ltd is delighted to announce their appointment to One Vision Housing’s Consultant Framework for Building Services Engineering to assist them in their programmes of work for predominantly asset management and development over a four-year period. One Vision Housing is a member of the Sovini Group.  Any new or existing members of The Sovini Group can also use the framework.

Our appointment is for the provision of M&E design services for the office fit-out which will include the design of a new VRF heating and cooling system, new LED replacement lighting and refurbishment of the building core areas.

Indian Tiffin Room Manchester

We were delighted to be appointed to prepare provide M & E consultancy ser vices for the design and technical support during construction of the new Indian Tiffin Restaurant located within the cultural quarter of the First Street development in Manchester City Centre adjacent to the HOME Theatre.

Swing Gate Lane, Berkhampstead

We have been appointed to undertake mechanical and electrical design consultancy duties with regard to the design and build of 9 no. general needs flats and the conversion and refurbishment of an existing terrace into 2 no shared ownership houses.

The Probation Service

Charles Andrews have been appointed by the Home Office to provide mechanical and electrical design services for various offices used by the Probation Services, located in Oldham, Rochdale and Pendleton.

New Board Director

As part of our plan to secure senior staff to become long-term committed members of the team, we are delighted that Nick Hyde has joined our Board of Directors.  Nick brings a wealth of technical and commercial experience and we’re confident he will add to our continuing success.

We were appointed by Community Gateway Association to design, specify and provide contract administration services.  Throughout the development of the design and specification, close liaison took place with the lead member of CGA’s staff and facilities team.  Works were carried out with an existing tenant in situ.
